You needn’t suffer the pain, embarrassment, and potential health complications of damaged or missing teeth. We offer a variety of therapies to weakened teeth and rebuild incomplete smiles, including full mouth reconstruction for more serious cases.
Advanced dental problems may require full-mouth reconstruction. Full mouth reconstruction can be used to restore your mouth to proper health and function. There can be numerous causes; usually people are in need of it because of heavy bruxism, or tooth grinding. It can also be caused by lots of broken or fractured teeth as well as many cases of missing teeth. And the gist of full mouth reconstruction is putting crowns and veneers on every tooth in that mouth, and restoring it to ideal reconstruction. The goal is not only to repair the damage in your mouth, but to allow you to leave our office with a full set of healthy teeth and gums. While it can be costly, it can in some cases be the only way to restore your smile. And while it takes a lot of planning – and can be time-consuming - the results are worth it.
Due to our excellent lab support and our expertise in planning the treatment, such cases can generally be completed within a very short time to give you a brand new set of teeth and a charming smile once again.
How the Full Mouth Reconstruction Process begins?
If you think you need a full mouth reconstruction, see your dentist for examination. Your dentist will examine your mouth to determine the extent of the problem and the treatment options that can be used to correct it.
Firstly, the condition of your teeth will determine what restorative procedures may be needed, such as porcelain veneers or full-coverage crowns, bridges or implants.
Secondly, If your gums are not healthy, you will most likely need scaling and root planning to treat your disease. Your dentist will look for deep pockets, excessive or insufficient gum tissue, periodontal disease and bone density irregularities.
Thirdly, A stable bite – one in which you are not in pain when you close your mouth or chew and one that does not cause wear or destruction of your teeth – is important to your overall oral health.
And Finally, The color, shape, size and proportion of your teeth, and how they appear in relation to your gums, lips, mouth, side profile and face, are also important factors in full mouth reconstruction treatment.
